We recently held a swapping event with a difference down in Melbourne. Held at the iconic BMW Edge, Federation Square. The theme of the night was “Swap your frock.” We also had Leeyong hosting a crafter table With great coverage thanks to Triple J and City Weekly, we had a great turn out. Some lovely dresses were swapped, check out the photos below:
The Clothing Exchange is now tweeting, hear us tweet about what’s happening in the world of Clothes swapping, when your next event is being held and exciting giveaways!

October will be the month of Buy Nothing New, an initiative promoted by Salvos Stores nation wide. This is excellent timing for us as National Swap Day is going to be held on October 25th (as you all know by now!). The lovely people at Salvos have started a great blog – so if you have a moment check it out and get involved. The Salvos do some fantastic work across Australia and particularly towards the end of the year, this is one organization worth supporting.
Juliette was interviewed for the Collaborative Consumption blog this week, and what fabulous timing as ‘What’s Mine is Yours’ the book has just launched this week in The States. We will be park of the book launch in Melbourne by holding a swap and being part of the discussion panel on 18th November – stay tuned for extra details.
