On Sunday 30th January, The Clothing Exchange combined forces with the eclectic Rose Street Market in the iconic Fitzroy district.
With the sun shining strong, we had a group of lovely ladies come down and swap to their hearts content! The market made for a colorful background whilst swapping anything from frocks, cardigans, nice knits to a colourful array of accessories. Whilst the market displayed the work of up to 40 artists and designers.
Kate Luckins the founder of The Clothing Exchange reflected on the first event at the Rose St summer series in December, “the garment donations were incredible, with more vintage treasures and a fantastic jumpsuit that was happily claimed by local designer Gwendolynne Burkin”.
We stumbled upon this clever website which allows you to check-out what is fun, funky and happening in your local state.
